This educational website is about Vision Aids over the
past seven centuries - mostly spectacles, but including magnifying glasses,
water lenses and telescopes.
It is an international not for profit co-operative effort
by enthusiasts and demonstrates that an obscure subject can be made
accessible to a much wider audience.
The website's goals include educating, stimulating further
research, attracting new collectors, and creating a forum for the dynamic
exchange of information and ideas. It offers a wealth of resources and even
has a games page.
