Four Doctors of the Church, part of a larger painting, Carlo Braccesco,
second half 15th century, Galleria G.Franchetti alla Ca' d'Oro, Venezia.
The others saints are from left: St. Gregorio (Gregory), St. Ambrogio
(Ambrose), St. Agostino (Augustine), and St. Gerolamo (Jerome) with
glasses. This painting was in collection of Barone Giorgio Franchetti
and from this it was donated to the Italian State. |
