Hofmann-Porro 1 Monocular Prism Telescope (ca. 1862/63) in a flask shape, the
lever on the side was used to focus, about 15 X magnification. This is one of
the first porro-prism-systems in monocular handheld construction (invented in
the early 1850s by Ignazio Porro himself and later by his employee Paris J.G.
